Don't Let the bedbugs bite
Inspiration
Have you ever felt something graze your feet in the middle of the night under your sheets? Well, I am bringing that nightmare to life!
What It does
"Don't Let the Bedbugs Bite!" is an Interactive Installation utilizing color tracking and projection mapping to induce a horrifying nightmare experience!
How I Built It
It utilizes the Keystone Library in Processing to do the projection mapping. I used an everyday projector on a tripod. In order to take in color data from the environment, I attached a webcam to a tripod and filmed the mattress. I then passed the camera through the processing sketch where I analyzed the change pixels to generate spiders at the right moment.
what is next for Don't let the bedbugs bite
After completing a functional prototype I am looking to install this installation in an actual bed environment! Let me know if you are interested in working together!
